Our physical existence

The number 5 of May stands for our physical body in the bodies of Kundalini Yoga. It describes our physical existence, our temple in which we are allowed to live on this planet from beginning to end. It is a gift that we all too often forget in the hustle and bustle of our thoughts, of life and of the challenges and let it "bob up and down". Sometimes we don't sleep enough, sometimes we eat unhealthily, put a strain on our nervous system or aren't really aware of it because we take it for granted. He's there anyway. He gives us the opportunity to move every second - for us, in life and in the world. 💕

It's fascinating when we remember that we come from an egg and a seed, from love, grow up and see the light of day at the right time. This is how we grow up, develop, experience our body and then leave it here again. We often only become aware of this very late and on the last "meters" we recognize the gratitude for a "vehicle" that gives everything in our favor, does not ask, but is simply there for us unconditionally. 💚 What are we giving back to him? How do we take care of and care for him? What are we going to do with him?

It can help us to ask ourselves questions from time to time to “check in” on how we are currently interacting with our physical body. What do we (not) do for him? Where do we have the feeling that something would (not) do him good? What does it (not) need for this? What it definitely needs is attention! 🙏🏼 We are allowed to be attentive to the needs that our physical body has. It starts with breathing, continues with drinking, eating, movement, right up to relaxation or action. We also sharpen our awareness of this through meditation and yoga. To feel what he wants and needs. To perceive with our senses what is due. Maybe it's a massage again? Or a long bath? A break in nature? Or an active race through the forest?! 😍

What helps you and your body? How do you support him? And where do you discover something that you can change? Our body speaks to us! He speaks in pains, detachments, sicknesses and healings. He is always giving us signs when we can hear and recognize them. It connects deeply with our thoughts, emotions and feelings and constantly reacts to them. At this moment we also feel that we are not our body, but can be in it as a soul. We always have the opportunity to choose what to do with him. What is our intention for this wonderful creature that carries us through ups and downs? He is a mouthpiece to recognize, release and heal connections in us! Beliefs, behaviors, ... are reflected in it and give us clues as to what is needed. We can dive there through him or emerge again through him!

Personally, I keep asking myself this when I feel something in my body that it wants to show me. What have I been eating, stomach? What's running down my liver, liver? Etc. and so on… . Through this clear connection and the insights from it, images and contexts arise for us that ask us to become active, to exercise care and, above all, to come to a healing! 💖 Especially nowadays, when everything is getting faster and faster, sometimes even more brutal and definitely more challenging, we need a "strong" body that can offer us a safe, trustworthy and powerful home. The pressure from outside will not stop increasing! On the contrary! So how can we use all the techniques, ideas, actions for our body to care for, cherish and most of all love it? How much do we deal with our "appearance" from time to time and don't feel so well at all!? Something to optimize there, something there. However, I am not talking about that. It's not about optimization, it's about caring and nurturing.

All of our bodies are perfect just as they are on this planet, so beautiful, unique and a magical creation of this creation! 😍 Do we dare to accept this? Do we dare to take care of him unconditionally? Are we committed enough to giving our body what it needs? How are you with that?

I wish you a wonderful journey of discovery with your physical body and dealing with the questions asked!

With love from the bottom of my heart, Nam Terath 💚
