RELAX!

"Finally relax, the weekend is coming!" - How often do you hear this statement? How exhausting does it have to be to live the days in this pattern? Yes, I know it well from the old days. You live the week, you make an effort, you can hardly calm down and then you long for the weekend or vacation. A little time out, distance, peace for yourself. What happens then? Leisure time stress - every fifth person in Germany carries it! You take on something here, take care of it, meet here and spend yourself there because you think it could relax you. But isn't it more of a distraction? And that's the point - distraction!

Distraction is different than relaxation! We easily confuse these two qualities. We distract ourselves with films, with books, with private activities. But doesn't this also put us under additional tension? Aren't we just directing the tension in a different direction, into a different area of our lives? Let's just take a film that stirs us up inside. Doesn't that make you even more tense or does it relax you? It's not called relaxation for nothing! The tension must be released, not built up further! Do not you know that? You long for quiet hours, want to switch off a bit and hey presto, you fall into a private stress pattern. There is still work to be done here and work to be done there. Do you come down here?

Our bodies need a break! Our physical body needs rest and the nervous system needs a "shutdown" from internal and external influences. Our emotional world is allowed to relax and just be - without excitement, which in turn affects the nervous system. Our mind absolutely needs breaks from thinking, analyzing, creating, ...! Otherwise it will be spinning so wildly in circles that we soon won't know where our heads are! And our energetic bodies need a certain purity to be able to support us. If they are always "on", this will not happen!

Let's keep playing this game from distraction to numbness! We inject ourselves with a sleeping pill to stop feeling the "stress". We completely switch off, isolate ourselves, drive down so much that coming up becomes all the more strenuous. We fall into extremes, which are always a great challenge for our lives. We switch from one extreme to the other extreme mode. Totally on or totally off! Does that bring joy? Does it make us feel alive and healthy? Falsely often yes!

So how can we succeed in coming into a true relaxation? How can we balance ourselves so that we unite on and off? These questions are all the more important for our time today! Every generation, every age had its own challenges. Ours is mental health. And hereby also the health of all our bodies. Of course I can give you a lot of hints in the direction of "schedule, structure, ...". In order to let the external influences become weaker. However, as with everything in our life, our outside is only a mirror of what is going on inside us! Because one thing is for sure. If we can't relax, the inner pressure that arises from beliefs, patterns, family dynamics,... builds up and creates tension.

Do you always want to do everything perfectly in your job? Do you find it difficult to say no to a private meeting? Do you think you always have to be there for everyone else? Can't you just leave something at home and trust that it will solve itself at a later point in time? Do I feel like life is a struggle? Do I want more more more of something? And so on and so forth... We're full of these cords that tighten around our necks and choke our breath. Without this breath, however, we will never be able to really relax! How can we rebalance this “breath”?

As already mentioned, it's not about going to extremes! Rather, it is about how we can be relaxed in the "stress". I keep reporting about it in the yoga classes and invite you to take the challenges of the exercises and indulge in them with ease! We also experience the mirror here. If it is easy for us here, it will also be easier in life. If it is difficult for us, it will also be difficult for us in life! We can strengthen ourselves to the extent that we do not fall victim to the pressure that affects us from inside and outside, but take responsibility for how we react to it! Do we respond with struggle or peace and surrender to being? What is really for relaxation and what only creates more stress? What is behind me? What do I really want for my life?

It goes deeper! Behind all this lies your truthfulness! Your truth is behind all of this! Behind all this there is so much to see in order to live a happy and free life! What are your "drivers" and what are your "relaxers"? How can you balance yourself? how can you relax
